Preschool
Nursery
Welcome to the nursery of North Oxford Baptist Church. Our desire is to partner with parents as they rear their preschooler in a path that will ultimately lead to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our greatest goal as a Sunday School ministry is to help you and your family in this process and to provide meaningful Christian experiences through the many opportunities offered at North Oxford Baptist Church.
We firmly believe that the nursery/preschool years are critical in the development of a child. At no other point in life do we learn or accomplish so much in so short a period of time. Our goal is to lay a strong foundation for faith during these formative years.
No child is too young to learn about God. Providing a safe, secure, relaxed environment is crucial to this process. Preschoolers have the opportunity to learn and assimilate biblical concepts each time they come to church through age-appropriate activities. These activities are provided each Sunday morning during both 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. worship services and during evening worship and Wednesday night programs as well.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve you as we partner in the spiritual training of your child. If you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact our Nursery Coordinator, Lori Bray, 801-5900.
Mothers and Preschoolers (MAPS)
MAPS is a ministry program of North Oxford Baptist Church for preschoolers. We currently have classes for children, ages 1-4. The one-year old class is for those who are one and walking. MAPS is a quality program where caring, Christian teachers guide children as their physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. MAPS offers parents a regular block of time each week in which to meet their personal and family needs while they have the assurance their children are also benefitting from the experience. MAPS meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Contact Lynda Bodenheimer at 281-8327 for MAPS enrollment information.
